Manage Household Devices
Let resellers add extra devices in the same home at a discount — configure up to five discount tiers per reseller, and understand the daily same-network check that keeps the discount honest.

Configure household discounts for a reseller
Go to Resellers and open the reseller you want to configure.
Open the Household tab.
Switch Household on. Switch it off to stop this reseller adding new household devices.
Switch on each tier you want to offer and enter its discount as a % off. There are up to five additional household devices.
Click Save household config.
Tiers enable in order, 1 to 5. Here the second device in a home costs this reseller 40% less, and there is no third tier.
The discount is a percentage off this reseller's own cost for the device's subscription. Tiers must be enabled in order. You cannot offer a 3rd-device discount without the 1st and 2nd.
The same-network requirement
A household device must be a genuine second device in the same home. It qualifies for the discount only while:
- it is on the same network as its parent device, and
- its parent device is active.
Billistra checks this every day. If a household device is found on a different network, the discount it received is deducted from the reseller's wallet.
How a reseller adds a household device
Once you have enabled Household for a reseller, a Household device section appears when they create a customer.
Switch on Household device if the new device is in the same home as an existing customer.
Select the parent device — the existing customer it belongs with.
Make sure the new device will be on the same home network as the parent.
The reseller sees the same warning before they commit: three failed daily checks void the discount.
The discount for the next free tier is applied automatically, and the reseller is charged the discounted price.
Review household devices
Open the Household list to see every household device and how many each reseller has added. Use it to keep an eye on usage and spot a reseller whose household count looks out of proportion to their customer base.
